Fill in the data gaps.
Shark Utopia was started on the 4th of June 2021 and is a mix of data that I've scrambled from all over the internet, the fantastic Fishbase project & their API provider. The data that I have at the moment has a lot of holes. Still, with some time and help from the community, we'll have a pretty accurate dataset with a bunch of (actually) exciting info.
You'll find an 'Add data' button on all of the shark pages that will allow you to update data for that specific species. I kept the interface as simple as possible, and it shouldn't take you more than a couple of seconds to edit and submit your changes. It's really, really easy to use, and the sharks and I would appreciate any contribution very much.
When you submit your edits, I'll get notified and validate the data before adding it into the Shark Utopia database. Always include a reference to where you've found the data so that the original author can get proper credit. If you run into any issues with the data edit form, please let me know, and I'll fix it up ASAP.
